Hi Aysha,
This is Jahi on Slamjamz Recordings (Chuck D of Public Enemy's label) We have a cool Hip Hop/Soul/Reggae set on January 16th @ The Elbo Room in SF (www.elbo.com) if you are looking for a place to enjoy some socially conscious, uplifting Hip Hop. www.onefamspot.ning.com/profile/JAHI
This is my first time too, we are demonstrating at Macworld and we are on the first look list too. My company is Yuuguu and we will be demonstrating our new cool feature so come check us out at South Hall (ADC Pavilion) in Booth 1338-17.
Looking forward to the after parties and the long days in a geeky gadget world of heaven and then may sleep on the plane back home to the UK.
Aysha (great name, BTW) the kind of pass you get depends on your interests, your time and how much you want to spend. :)
Go to the http://macworldexpo.com/conference_program page and see if there is anything that interests you (note the prices for the various levels of Conferences). If nothing there grabs you, there's lots to see and do for a graphic designer (and musician!) right on the show floor so an Exhibit Pass may be enough for you for your first Macworld Expo.
And make sure you leave time in the evenings - there's lots of parties and events to go to!
As a first timer to Expo, my advice is always the same - do everything you possibly can - you can sleep when Expo is over. :)

Especially the part about the"Creeping Expo Crud" - it would suck to get sick after your first Expo!

Thanks for the compliments on my site. I'm really glad you enjoyed the photos of past Apple Events. I hope you enjoy the show.
