Adam Jackson Announcing The Macworld Hashtag

Many bay area events have tags that people can associate with to make communications over Twitter or social networks easier. I use these for all of my parties and events. During Blogworld, the tag was “BWE08” and it was a huge success and is a tag that I see today from attendees that are still chatting about the expo over Twitter. The tag for this year’s Macworld Conference and Expo is #mwsf09. Simple enough and right to the point. People have already started using the tag so any tweets that yo… Continue

Adam Jackson Macworld Signage Invades San Francisco

This is actually starting up a bit earlier than usual. Generally we’ll start seeing signs the week of Macworld but someone in the Macworld 2009 Flickr Group took photos on December 24th from downtown SF that show Macworld signs already posted. The slogan, “even the small talk will be big” isn’t a personal favorite of mine but… Continue

Adam Jackson You're spelling it wrong!

If you choose to talk about Macworld and actually write out the word, Macworld then I beg of you to capitalize it correctly. Every year, I see blog posts from all of my friends begging people to please write it correctly! Macworld is not written as “MacWorld”. This is horribly incorrect and if you’re announcing Macworld coverage on your dinky little blog and happen to spell it MacWorld then I am going to remove you from my RSS feed reader and never check in to your site ever again. Everywhere yo… Continue

In 2009 Macworld is working to make its site a one-stop experience for our attendees. Today our housing team at Macworld went on line at sidestep.com* a search engine for travel. The sidestep site searches the web for the best deals*. ilene Hoffman Macworld 2009 Buzz

The buzz around the upcoming show in January is amazing even at this early date! I've had a number of requests concerning the Hess Macworld Events and Party List, which will be online much earlier this year. Vendors are psyched and users may make plane reservations earlier too, especially in the wake of so many airlines cutting back their flights. Don't forget to check the Hess Events List as the show nears! I'm able to continue to crea… Continue
