8/8/08: Just thought that I'd add a note about my header photograph. I took this photo Aug. 2 or thereabouts at Cutler Pond in Dover, MA with a Panasonic DMC TZ4 camera that I'm testing out to review on MacNN.
As far as I can determine, the critter is a Widow Skimmer dragonfly. From another site: "The widow skimmer is famous for its pruinosity - the white, waxy coating on the dragonfly's wings and abdomen." I know you can't see much of it, but I figured the close up of some of it is better than…
