Sorry, it doesn't look like I'll be making it over this time. I normally try and have my company pay for these trips (since it is for work) but it was going to be WWDC for me and MacWorld for our systems guy. But alas they didn't go for it.
So in 2009 the plan is to take a vacation and drag, I mean bring, The Wife with me.
Hi Linda--
Hope to see you at Macworld! While there will not be a User Group University, I am looking forward to the Wine and Cheese. I will be doing a presentation in the User Group Lounge on Tuesday from 3 to 4 p.m. It is titled Five Troubleshooting-Oriented Meetings for Your MUG.
Have you heard about the User Group 2.0 Virtual Conferences that I am cohosting with Chuck Joiner. So far, they have been posted on MacVoices . These have been so thought provoking and some really good ideas have been presented!
Also, check out our MacLevelTen Group here in the Ning Groups area.
As for the MacMania 7 Geek Cruise, that was my second one--but not for long! My husband and I will be going on MacMania 8 next November! We have really enjoyed them. The classes are small, the instructors are wonderful and the Mac cruisers are wonderful. We know of at least a dozen people who will be going again next November. Hope you will join us!
Hi Pat,
It's good seeing you on this blog. I have always enjoyed the presentations that you have done at the previous MW. It seems a long time back to NYC and Boston. I don't need to ask, I know you are busy as ever. At some point please let me know what you liked about your Geek cruise. It has been something I have always wanted to do. I'll see you at the Monday user group event. Linda McNeil from Philadelphia macs@pacs
