One thing that many people aren't aware of is that the neighborhood around the Moscone Center has a significant Filipino population. I found this out when I attended Sunday Mass at St. Patrick's Church on Mission Street across the street from the Metreon. The big news this week is obviously the announcement that the 2009 Macworld Conference and Expo is the last one for Apple, Inc. There have been much hand-wringing and beating of breasts over this.
