Hi Joanne & Chris,
I was wondering, if you get a chance, if you would give my garage invented iPhone/iTouch personal media viewer a quick 1-10 rating. 1 being: it's the stupidest thing ever seen, 5 is: that's interesting and I'm interested to learn more and 10 is BINGO- I would give it a try if it was $39.99 at a Best Buy, Target or Radio Shack. I'd value an objective opinion other than my own or most of the people I know who already think I'm nuts. So don't worry about sending back a one. iLidz™ is not for everybody but it'll be fun to find out how many people do like the idea. Thanks! I'll be at Ecamm's booth #4629 hope to see you at Macworld!

Well hello Joanne & Chris. Are you both Park Rangers? What a cool job. Very *cool* I'm sure if you work in Alaska! I'm only going to be going to MacWorld for one day and probably only for 4 hours or so. My old left hip and my old back can't take much more than that. May you have a great visit. Cheers, -- Marnix

nearly 1,000 people will have joined

It sounds to me like nearly 1,000 people will have joined the Macworld Conference & Expo Community by the start of MW2008... but with an estimated attendance of nearly 50,000, how will we recognize each other (if we want to be recognized)? Are there special logos, secret decoder rings, or armbands? I do not think the iPhone is capable of proximity-alerts. Once we do meet, is there a special secret handshake or exchange of business cards or personal swag?...

We appreciate everyones participa… Continue

What are the limitations specifically for Apple laptop batteries on airline flights starting on January 1?

We will be traveling to San Francisco for Macworld on Sunday, January 13, via airline and do not want to suffer any undue complications through airport screening. We know that thousands of other Apple enthusiasts will be arriving by plane also. We have a 17-inch MacBook Pro and generally carry an extra battery in our backpack for long flights. Does anyone know the specific TSA limitations for Apple laptop batteries?
